ZDM (ISSN 0044-4103) is an information service and reference tool in mathematics education and computer science education from pre-school level to teacher training and adult education, published bimonthly. It contains both an articles section and a documentation section.

Articles Section:

The articles section of ZDM is an international journal with contributions in English, French or German. It provides Analyses, Book Reviews and Information.

Articles in the analysis section  are mostly devoted to a special topic of mathematics education. In the book reviews selected publications are discussed in detail by experts in this field. The information section provides survey articles and state-of-the-art reports on educational problems, discussions of current issues and problems in mathematics and computer science education, literature reports as well as reports on international conferences.

Volumes 1997 to 2000 of the articles section of  ZDM are available as printed and as electronic edition.  From 2001 on it is published only electronically (ISSN 1615-679X). The current issue and the 5 issues published prior to this one are available to subscribers (individuals or institutions) only.



Documentation Section:

In the documentation section of ZDM references to worldwide literature on mathematics education and computer science education are given. Citations provide bibliographic data and abstracts, mostly in English.
